\n\nDeep in the jungle, everything seems to be going as usual—until a lantern lights up at night and throws the animals into chaos. Countless insects can't resist, are magically attracted to the light, and fall into a strange trance. The unusual commotion awakens a family of bats, and while the large bats use the bright spectacle to hunt, the little bat child rescues a firefly, a fly, and a moth. The next evening, the lantern shines again, and the little bat tries everything to protect the insects from the spell of the dangerous light. She injures herself in the process, but the little animals are immediately on the spot: What luck!

\nEs un músico con proyección internacional, primero con los grupos Kortatu y Negu Gorriak, y después en solitario. Comenzó a producir documentales en 2006. Aquel año fundó la productora musical y cinematográfica TALKA RECORDS & FILMS, y en ella ha trabajado como director, guionista, productor y creador de bandas sonoras originales.
Ha recibido varios reconocimientos: en el Festival Amal de Galicia, al mejor documental, por su obra Checkpoint Rock; en el Festival In-Edit de Barcelona, al mejor documental, por la serie Next Music Station; una mención especial en el Krafta Doc International de Glasgow por el documental NOLA?; el premio a la mejor película de animación en el Festival Internacional de Monterrey, por la película Black is Beltza; y el premio al mejor diseño de sonido en los Premios Quirino de la Animación Iberoamericana, por la película anteriormente mencionada.

\n\nAs a child, Aniss attended Gnawa rituals, where dance, music, trance, and self-mutilation intertwined suffering with the sacred.
\nHis video practice offers an intimate glimpse into the Brotherhoods' imaginaries, proposing an affective and conceptual framework where the anguish and sorrow of the oppressed individual become an aesthetic force that paves the way for liberation.

She works as an editor, teacher and archivist. From an early age her training was in the field of arts and social sciences. She studied at the Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica (ENERC), in Buenos Aires, Argentina and more recently at the Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola, in Donostia, Basque Country.
\nAs an editor, she has participated in multiple documentary projects, as well as experimental projects in collaboration with contemporary Argentinean artists.
\nIn 2019 she founded a documentary filmmaking workshop, ‘La Paloma’ in a Penitentiary Unit in the province of Buenos Aires.
\nIn 2024 she carried out a Laboratory of memories and archives, in conjunction with the Malen Etxea Association, in Zumaia, as part of her TFM.
\nShe is also involved in Argentinean film research and preservation projects and is part of the research collective Operación Retorno.
